What's going on 'ere then?

Hello! Welcome to my blog for the next 3 years of my life! As a student at Sheffield Hallam University studying film and media, there's going to be a lot of tasks assigned and briefs we need to keep track of. This is the place I'll be documenting my experiences with said tasks.

Sometimes there may be pictures, sometimes I might just post a lot of text, sometimes I might even attach a video I've made, or a video someone else has made to make me seem pretty cool, until I explain just underneath that I'm just using someone else's film for research purposes, but until I explain that, please go on believing I'm a prodigy in the making!

What 'ave you gone and done already then?

Well I'm glad you asked ambiguous Bristolian bold text! I've been studying Film and Media for about two years now, between College back in Bristol and University here in Sheffield! In that time I've made quite a few things I'm reasonably proud of.

For example, a music video I put together back in college for a brief, and a real client:

Then there's one of my personal favourites, a radio piece also made for a brief, in which I created a small fictional town with a small group of people and reported on all the strange things happening around the  world:

I've also made TV advertisements:


And once I made a 3 part Dr Who themed Christmas Nativity:





There's plenty more where that came from but this has been a sneak peek of my film making exploits so far. In the coming posts, you'll see various tasks I've gotten up to since making this post, and I may even talk about a few flashbacks for inspiration now and then. I hope you enjoy your time here!
